The wired handbox can be ordered to have 1, 2, or 5 buttons. It can also be ordered so that one of the button slots takes a key so you can enable / disable it. Very useful if the music machine is on public display and you only want select individuals to be able to play the music machine.
The handbox is also useful if you do not want people to get on the UMC wireless network or for people who are technology challenged and do not want to use a smartphone or tablet to play the music machine.
We also make a wireless handbox that uses RF technology. Click here for more information regarding the wireless option.
The wired handbox plugs into the UMC via one of the open USB ports.
Below are the 1, 2, and 5 button handboxes (with and without key switch). The USB cords are not shown.
The buttons of the handbox have a lighted ring around them.
If desired, the handboxes can be easily mounted to a wall so they may be used as a wallbox.
